Currently The CD sits at the #2 position waiting the reporting of the current charts (July). They run a month behind. The CD entered the chart @ # 3 the month it was released (March 07) and has remained in the top 5 for its 16 month run... and counting. Thank you.

Ocean’s First – I started back working with Ocean’s First/Audubon Society. If you recall I did a 27 city fundraising tour for them back in 2005-2006, the utilized the Plastic Pink Flamingo & Sun Dance CD's. Some of the music from those CD's worked well promoting their agenda. It's beginning to look like I'll be doing another tour (35 cities) sometime late 2008 through 2009. This one is likely to bring me overseas, as well as the continental US, Hawaii and Alaska. There's a possible collaboration in the works, I'll keep you posted, stay tuned, it could get exciting.

Florida Keys Commission Clint Borges has taken the reigns as Director of the Florida Keys Commission since the March passing of good friend and previous director Delores Simpson. It’s always hard to figure out what exactly is going on when you’re thrown into a situation. Clint has managed to sift through most all of it and I think he’s got it down. I perform for the Commission every month for their meetings held in different areas of the Florida Keys. Next one will be in beautiful Marathon, the heart of the Florida Keys.

NEW CD in Process – Recording – slowly but surely.

#1 "Who I Am" Still!!!- www.indiependencemusic.com reports that my song "Who I Am" is still #1! This gives the song "Who I Am" 42 weeks at #1 in their charts.

HUMAN RACE - the Band We will be adding some more band dates and revamping the Nick Granato & Human Race Band area of the website in September – keep checking back!

SCHEDULE/BOOKINGS Already booked heavy, but drop us and email or call the office if you’re interested in having me come to your area, we might be coming already and that makes it more economical! Gas is ridiculous, so we have to conserve on these road trips and do as much as we can to be effective.

It will assist you in pulling your emotions together and understanding your situation. If you're a guy and you've caused the emotional distress, then you should read it too, so you can figure out why your about to lose control of your situation. If you're not sure if you're in distress emotionally, or you even have a situation, then read it anyway so you'll be ready! Lauren is currently on the conference circuit, she is an exceptionally inspiring motivational speaker… I should have had her write this, it might have been more motivational!

PRIDE IN THE ARTS AWARDS – what does it mean?

• 2007 Artist Of The Year – Stonewall Society/Pride in The Arts Awards

What it means - Besides the fact that my fan-base voted and my peers have recognized the achievement, it means validation. I breathed a sigh of relief when my CD "Outside The Lines" first charted on the prestigious Outvoice Top 40, it meant I got my foot in the door, as you all know it snowballed from that moment. The recognition it has given me is immense, the rewards have been too numerous to mention. This next 6 months should reflect exactly what it meant. Magazine and News articles have already started appearing around the country. The wire services carried the win, radio interviews etc. I'm still stunned and humbled and so very grateful to all of you who took your time on my behalf.

What it means – On a personal level, it means people actually listened to my music. It means that I am being effective in my delivery both musically and lyrically. It means that I successfully bridged a gap. Professionally, the CD was recognized out of 1000's of candidates. We worked hard on it, the musicians, the graphics, the life that went into it and it was acknowledged. Flocker Happenings It has been an exciting time since the last Flocker Happenings report. Flockers Donna McKinney, Rachael Warner & Maria Gomez popped in to hear me play at the Creek in early July, good to see them. I had a great talk with Sean Bardoni up in Newton NJ, it seems he and Alex Williamson of Islip NY and Paul Grace of NYC all had lunch together in the Big Apple, their only connection until then was being Flockers, they all met online through my MySpace. Anyway, they met up to figure out a way to bring me to those 3 areas of the Northeast. They are looking for small venues to host a series of concerts. I like to see you guys get creative! Hey guys, remind me to put you in touch with Rob O’Donnell, another good friend who lives right in your neck of the woods. Speaking of Rob, we’ve been working on a Broadway musical, well we were anyway, at least he was working harder than me… I suppose I should call Rob too. (my bad) Brenda Callow in Farmington NM emailed me to tell me she’s working on bringing me down there. Thanks to Brenda I’ve had a surge of folks from that area join the Flocker club! New Flocker Kevin Peterson of Tampa FL drove with friends and now fellow Flockers Mike Feltner and Karen Schoan all the way across state to hear me play. It was great to see them and meet them face to face, we had a seriously chaotic night at the Casino, but they did get to hear my first 2 sets. Sorry I couldn’t spend more time visiting. Paul & Mina Rittenhauser from Hawaii returned from their Caribbean cruise and stopped back in on a quiet Wednesday night to hear me play before they left to go home. It was really cool of them to do that, they have a beautiful home on the Big Island and have invited me to stay with them when I tour there again. Speaking of Hawaii, it is an island and I actually met them through some other island friends Jake Dillman and Rob Chandler who live in Hilo, (The Rittenhausers live in Kona, on the other side of the Big Island) . Jake and Rob just opened up a new restaurant on the oceanfront and have asked me to come play out there a couple weeks (like I would say no LOLOL) I plan to do that when my new CD is released. I celebrated my Birthday with friends at the Creek, Long time Flocker Mary Springer provided the cake, and we had a pseudo birthday party, I tried to keep it under wraps, but word got out. Thanks to all you Flockers that sent me Birthday wishes via snail mail and email! I Salute You!

I also wanted to give a special thanks to Flocker Howard Gross, he likes to take pictures and so he is always forwarding photos on to me to share with you, so thanks Howard for all the fun photos!

FLOCKERS SPREADING THE LOVE - I want to thank you for visiting the other artists I have blogged about. It is obvious from the response they are getting that you are supporting them as well. Katie Harrell Update - Ohio's Premier socialite Katie Harrell has been keeping the tabloids pretty darn busy this summer. Katie was spotted frolicking with a mere commoner we know only as "Aaron". The paparazzi followed them to Cedar Pointe, the Cleveland Zoo and then to a 4th of July Fireworks display. They were caught on film “holding hands” of all things (see untouched picture for proof)! Insiders say it’s not serious, but they have held back “Aaron’s” last name so if he steps out of line they can say “Aaron who”? We’ll keep you posted!

RADIO FREE FLOCKERS - Alan Stinson of Las Vegas NV was blaring me in his car with the windows down, the police asked him to turn it down… that sounds like what my mom used to do…. Valerie Crandall of Galveston TX says she heard me on Coast 104. Matt LaFurge of Orlando FL heard me in the Florida Tourist Center in Universal, Lorraine Royal of Margate FL says she hears me singing in her dreams… (that sure sounds pretty good) Maxx the dog wishes I would stop singing and take him for a walk because he has to go bad…
